The main aim of the club is to promote sailing, racing and cruising.
Our ever popular Winter Series Cruising starts in September and runs through to January.
Our Dinghy Racing starts in the spring. The season runs through to the Autumn.
R.N.L.I. Rowing Race - This is an annual event, rowing from Brandy Hole to Battlesbridge.
This event raises a substantial amount for the R.N.L.I., a charity which we have continued to
support throughout the years, and we are very proud to have had a lifeboat named after Brandy Hole.
Fishing Competitions - These are held bi-annually, usually during the months of June and
October.
Regatta - A regatta is held each year where a considerable sum is raised for local charities.
The regatta includes cruiser and dinghy racing, water activities, stalls, musical entertainment
and lots of fun.
Cadets - Regular cadet meetings are held for our younger members, this enables them to learn
boating skills safely, and under supervision. |
